Augmentis is assisting a leading aero-engine and industrial gas turbine components manufacturer in recruiting a Segment Project Procurement Specialist. This role supports multiple plants within the Metal Castings division, focusing on securing supply, cost savings, and risk mitigation.

The position offers cross-functional collaboration, exposure to CAPEX projects, and opportunities to influence procurement strategy across North America and beyond. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Procurement or Contract Development/Management within procurement is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Oracle or a similar enterprise business system.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Aufgaben

• Review plant requirements and statements of work (SOWs) to identify potential suppliers and contractors.
• Create, review, and negotiate service agreements and purchase orders to ensure all contract language accurately reflects scope, requirements, deliverables, performance metrics, pricing, schedule, and terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with company contract procedures before issuance.
• Monitor contract performance to ensure requirements are being met and provide risk mitigation actions as necessary.
• Lead capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including sourcing and procurement of capital equipment, machinery, and building materials, from proposal review through contract execution.
• Lead and support outsourcing and outplant work initiatives, cost reduction efforts, supplier growth strategies, and supplier onboarding.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project timelines, manage deliverables, and provide action plans to eliminate project delays.
• Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes across the division and implement solutions to reduce process waste, improve cost effectiveness, and maintain a high level of compliance with procurement and financial procedures.
• Provide direct support to plants across the division to resolve procurement operational challenges and ensure a consistent, high level of execution.
