Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Valley Green, PA, seeks a Global Manufacturing Capacity Engineer to lead CBS capacity planning across sites. You will own the demand-to-capacity model, translate forecasts into hours, headcount, and CapEx, and deliver exec-ready visibility on gaps and risks.

Responsibilities cover ramp planning, bottleneck analysis, scenario modeling, and CapEx readiness while developing Power BI dashboards for capacity, demand, and utilization. Travel approx. 15-30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in capacity planning or factory modeling in high-volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of cycle time, OEE, yield, utilization, and ramp modeling.
• Excel and Power BI skills; ERP/MRP, MES, SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own CBS global capacity planning model across the manufacturing network.
• Translate forecasts into production hours, line capacity, labor, and site loading.
• Define standard capacity assumptions (cycle time, OEE, yield, downtime).
• Consolidate site data for Vietnam, China, Mexico, USA, and future locations.
• Provide executive visibility on capacity coverage, gaps, timing, and CapEx needs.
• Develop Power BI dashboards for capacity, demand, and utilization.
