Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Global Industrial Engineer to drive global IE execution, standardization, and NPI readiness across CBS manufacturing sites in Valley Green, PA. You will translate forecasts into manufacturing requirements, lead cost modeling, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
3-5 years of IE/Manufacturing Engineering, operations, capacity planning, or high-volume manufacturing experience.
Strong knowledge of time study, standard labor, line balancing, takt time, OEE, equipment utilization, capacity planning, and cost analysis.
Experience supporting NPI, cost modeling, OpsPlan/OO planning, product transfers, CapEx planning, and manufacturing footprint decisions preferred.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, ERP/MRP, MES, SQL, Snowflake, SharePoint or similar systems preferred.
Lean manufacturing, standardized work, problem solving, SPC, and continuous improvement skills.
Strong analytical and communication skills; able to coordinate across sites/time zones.
Travel: approximately 10-20% domestic and international.

Responsibilities

Drive global IE execution and standardization across CBS manufacturing sites, supporting NPI readiness, cost modeling, OpsPlan, ramp, capacity and productivity.
Develop common IE methods for cycle time, standard labor, line balance, takt time, OEE, equipment utilization and ramp assumptions.
Partner with site IE teams to validate data and establish a single global baseline for decisions.
Translate product forecast and program build plans into manufacturing requirements including labor, equipment, and shifts.
Provide recommendations on constraints, productivity opportunities, and readiness to Global NPI, Operations and site leadership.
Support NPI Manufacturing Readiness across EVT/DVT/PVT, qualification, pilot and ramp activities.
Perform time studies, work-content analysis, line design, manpower modeling, ergonomic assessments, material-flow analysis, and standard-work definitions.
Analyze capacity vs demand by site/process/equipment family; identify bottlenecks and mitigation options.
Develop preliminary manufacturing cost models during RFQ/concept/early NPI phases and refine with maturity.
