Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Director of Billing Operations to lead a global team and build a scalable, accurate billing function within our Quote-to-Cash organization. You will drive performance, controls, and technology while partnering across IT, Accounting, Revenue, AR, and other groups to improve billing accuracy and predictability.

You will oversee SaaS and recurring revenue models, guide transformation initiatives, and ensure robust governance and metrics.

Qualifications

• 11+ years experience in billing operations, Quote-to-Cash, finance operations, or related disciplines in a global SaaS/tech setting.
• 6+ years leading and developing teams across geographies or functions with strong execution through change.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS, subscription, recurring revenue, and professional services billing.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash processes, internal controls, AR metrics, financial close, and forecasting.
• Experience leading operational transformation and billing technology implementations with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Billing Operations team, set priorities and development plans while ensuring accurate and timely billing.
• Own billing performance and predictability across SaaS, recurring revenue, and other models, including metrics and issue resolution.
• Partner with IT, PMO, and Quote-to-Cash stakeholders to improve billing processes and technology and drive automation.
• Strengthen upstream processes with Order Management and other teams to improve order quality, data integrity, and controls.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Revenue, AR, and Finance to support close activities, AR health, and cash forecasting.
• Establish and improve billing controls, policies, and governance with root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Lead and develop the organization through change, building capability and readiness for future work models.
• Exploit experience with multiple billing platforms; seek innovative solutions.
