Job summary

The Associated Press seeks an International Benefits Lead to shape and deliver competitive and compliant benefits programs for employees outside the United States. You will partner across the organization to bring expertise on international benefits and global mobility, driving programs that support employee needs and AP’s total rewards strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant experience in international benefits, global total rewards or related field.
• Experience supporting benefits programs across multiple countries and regulatory environments.
• Experience leading renewals and relationships with brokers, carriers, consultants and vendors.
• Understanding of global mobility programs, assignments, relocations, localization, immigration and cross-border payroll considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead international benefits programs (health, retirement, wellbeing, locally provided benefits).
• Partner with brokers, consultants, carriers and vendors on renewals and implementations.
• Evaluate costs, utilization and market trends to balance employee needs with compliance and sustainability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, governance and compliance across international markets.
• Lead global mobility programs including international assignments, relocations and immigration coordination.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll and external advisors throughout mobility lifecycle.
