Novo Nordisk A/S in Cambridge, MA is seeking a senior role within Global Business Development to identify external partnerships, collaborations and licensing opportunities across core therapy areas. You will collaborate with SE&I and cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities and support due diligence from scouting through negotiations.

The role requires advanced pharma/biotech BD experience, strong communication and project-management skills, and the ability to operate in a global matrix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in pharma/biotech BD or related field.
• Master’s degree in business or life sciences; MD/PhD preferred.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze data and provide senior-level recommendations.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify novel pipeline assets and enabling technologies.
• Support due diligence and the evaluation process.
• Assist in preparing governance materials and value stories for opportunities.
• Support license and collaboration negotiations in alignment with SE&I.
• Maintain TA landscapes and track opportunities across functions.
