You will work with Novo's Denmark and Cambridge teams, leading cross-functional assessments and negotiations with biotechs, VC firms, and pharma partners.

The role focuses on diabetes, obesity, liver and CVD, and requires a robust network and strategic pricing, financial acumen, and deal execution experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years’ relevant experience with a Master’s degree; 10+ with MD/PhD.
• Building extensive professional network in biotech and VC communities.
• Experience in consultancy, M&A house, or in-house corporate development.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Identify novel pipeline assets and enabling technologies.
• Lead in-depth evaluation and due diligence processes.
• Provide support during license and collaboration negotiations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally from R&D to Commercial for alignment.
• Build and maintain BD opportunity landscapes.
• Contribute to BD priorities and therapy area strategies.
• Position Novo as a preferred partner within therapy areas.
• Engage with external stakeholders including biotech and VC firms.
