Novo Nordisk Cambridge location in Massachusetts seeks an Associate BD Director to evaluate external growth opportunities and execute transactions within its Global Business Development group.

You will lead diligence teams, negotiate term sheets, and coordinate with R&D, Search & Evaluation, and commercial groups to align deals with corporate strategy. 7+ years in pharma/biotech and a Bachelor’s degree are required; 20–30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience; pharma/biotech preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to lead diligence teams.
• Experience presenting to senior management.
• Strong能力 in preparing deal comparables and crafting terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional evaluations of therapeutic drug programs from preclinical through clinical stages.
• As Project Manager, lead diligence teams with legal, finance, and commercial colleagues.
• Lead term sheet and contract negotiations for licenses and out-licensing opportunities.
• Contribute to strategy planning and training junior team members on deal processes.
• Prepare materials for BD Group and Deal Group presentations to senior management.
