Job summary

Bürkert USA Corp is seeking a strategic and results-driven business development leader to drive global growth in Lab & Analytical. The role oversees regional managers and develops a three-year plan, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.

The ideal candidate will have a medical technology background, proven managerial BD experience, and strong leadership in cross-functional environments, including travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in business development or sales at a managerial level.
• Demonstrated experience in key account development and strategic customer management.
• Experience in developing key accounts.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams in a dotted-line structure.
• Familiarity with the Lab & Analytical market and ability to adapt to fast-changing environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with a track record of building stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to travel as needed (30%).

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead the Regional Business Development Managers in a dotted-line reporting structure and develop the business development strategy for the Lab & Analytical industry.
• Oversee global revenue and profit margins for this sector.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including volume, assessable market, and target customer identification on a global, regional, and local scale.
• Develop and manage a three-year business plan for the Lab & Analytical industry.
• Facilitate global knowledge transfer and best practices across this industry.
• Ensure global alignment across regional Lab & Analytical business development teams.
• Join customer visits and lead projects with strategic important customers.
• Identify and address gaps in the market portfolio and conduct competitor analysis with the Head of Portfolio Management Lab & Analytical.
