Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Principal Global Sourcing Manager for Battery Pack (High Voltage Systems) in Costa Mesa, CA. The role leads battery commodity strategies, supplier partnerships, and cross-functional sourcing across products to improve cost, quality, and supply resilience.

You will own end-to-end procurement, negotiate terms with external manufacturers, and guide design and manufacturing decisions. 50% travel may be required; US TS clearance is a preferred qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management for batteries/manufacturing or sourcing engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and onsite relocation to Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for batteries focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and resilience.
• End-to-end responsibility for delivering quality parts at the right cost.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing for batteries.
• Own the business relationship with external Contract Manufacturing and ensure continuity of supply, risk management, and cost negotiations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and CM to influence technical design specs.
• Perform data-driven cost analyses across the supply chain using TCO.
• Support prototype requirements and build milestones with sourcing activities.
• Influence CM manufacturing processes and CapEx decisions.
• Negotiate agreements to secure best pricing and service terms.
• Provide technical direction within commodities across product lifecycle.
