Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Battery Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, and validate high‑voltage battery packs and energy storage modules.

You will perform CAD design, FEA/CFD analysis, and generate detailed drawings while collaborating with electrical, BMS, and manufacturing teams to integrate cell‑level hardware into system architectures. Travel and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical design and analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD/FEA tools and GD&T.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel 10–25% and obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design of battery modules and thermal management components.
• Conduct FEA/CFD to evaluate structural/thermal systems and mitigate thermal runaway.
• Create and release engineering drawings and product definitions.
• Collaborate with electrical, BMS software, and manufacturing teams.
• Support prototyping, environmental testing, and onsite manufacturing.
