Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Principal Global Sourcing Manager, Battery to drive battery commodity strategies and supplier partnerships critical to our defense products. This role will own end-to-end sourcing, manage external contract manufacturers, and collaborate with engineering to refine specifications and cost structures.

You will lead RFI/RFQ/RFP efforts, conduct deep cost analyses, and ensure continuity of supply while mitigating risk across the battery supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of batteries manufacturing or sourcing engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and relocate to Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for batteries focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
• End-to-end responsibility for delivering quality parts at the right cost.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing process for batteries.
• Own the business relationship with external Contract Manufacturing and ensure continuity of supply and risk management.
• Partner with Engineering and CM to influence design specs and manufacturing requirements.
• Perform detailed cost and supply chain analysis to drive data-driven decisions.
