Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an International Banking Operations Associate 3 to support Standby Letters of Credit and related trade finance operations. You will work with relationship managers and partners to ensure accurate, timely processing and compliance with established procedures.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced international banking environment. Onsite collaboration across multiple locations is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer Standby Letters of Credit per procedures.
• Review financial and legal docs for accuracy and completeness.
• Support maintenance and automatic-extension processes with defined workflows.
• Prioritize requests and manage deadlines within SLAs.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and internal partners to obtain information and complete transactions.
• Communicate via email, Teams, and calls with stakeholders.
• Research issues, identify solutions, and escalate when needed.
• Contribute to operational excellence and high-quality service.
