Job summary

The Onset Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager, Events for a hybrid role in San Francisco with a global footprint. You will own the events and sponsorship program from strategy through execution, balancing flagship conferences with supporting activations across AI infrastructure, GPUs, and data centers.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Legal, and Investor Relations to optimize spend, negotiate with organizers, and ensure a measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• Strong B2B conferences and events experience.
• Commercially sharp and exceptionally organized.
• Has done this before and can own strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute the events and sponsorship strategy across a growing global footprint.
• Own flagship B2B conferences, sponsorships and brand activations end-to-end.
• Develop business cases and manage healthy event budgets.
• Work closely with Sales, Commercial, Product, Legal and Investor Relations teams.
• Negotiate with conference organisers, venues and suppliers.
• Manage contracts, sponsorship rights, stands, signage, and delegate experience.
• Measure ROI and use data to shape future investment.
• Build the San Francisco events strategy and local tech community presence.
• Support a global calendar spanning US and Europe with expansion ahead.
