Job summary

Samsara’s Core IT team is seeking an AV Events Specialist to own onsite and remote AV operations, ensuring high‑quality events across offices. You will support video conferencing, streaming, and related AV infrastructure in a fast‑paced environment.

You will be based in the SF HQ and contribute to global AV initiatives while partnering with internal teams and external vendors to deliver seamless experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an AV environment.
• Willing to be in the office at least 3 days a week for onsite events and maintenance.
• Experience with Zoom and Zoom Webinars.
• Strong troubleshooting during high-visibility events.
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Join a small, dynamic AV team and optimize existing AV SME knowledge.
• Communicate clearly with business stakeholders.
• Coordinate and broadcast events to thousands of employees (town halls, earning calls).
• Set up, run, and troubleshoot all general AV equipment in offices.
• Set up, run, and troubleshoot video conferencing and streaming equipment.
• Plan and integrate tools and services to enhance collaboration at work.
• Manage AV vendor relationships, contracting, and quality assurance.
• Look for ways to improve each future event.
