Hyundai Mobis is seeking a Strategy & Planning Procurement Manager to lead the development of localized supplier pools across the Americas and drive procurement strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, global supplier development experience, and expertise in strategic sourcing, with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery targets within the automotive supply chain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
10+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing or automotive industries.
5+ years in supplier chain development, operation, and management within a global OEM or major automotive company.
Experience in automotive assembly and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Lead localization of supplier networks while maintaining cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Identify, evaluate, and develop local and potential suppliers.
Oversee supplier research activities and maintain supplier database.
Assess supplier capabilities including capacity, equipment readiness, and inspection results.
Review quotations and evaluate price competitiveness to support sourcing decisions.
Enhance procurement tools and processes (RFQs, contract standards).
Direct supply-chain management and purchasing strategy execution.
Monitor supplier performance and apply corrective actions as needed.
Expand and strengthen supplier pool to support localization goals.
