Tuckernuck, Inc. in Washington, DC, seeks a Production Apparel Manager to lead the production lifecycle for private label vendors, focusing on India region.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, and global vendors to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and margins, overseeing development through final production and ensuring clear calendars and cost

Qualifications

• Knowledge of garment construction and production processes across categories.
• Experience working with overseas factories and coordinating across time zones.
• Ability to manage timelines, troubleshoot under pressure, and stay organized.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PLM systems and ERP platforms is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production process from development to delivery across multiple product categories.
• Maintain and track production calendars and critical path timelines.
• Collaborate to meet category cost targets and ensure production feasibility from proto to bulk.
• Communicate daily with global vendors to oversee on-time production and resolve issues.
• Lead weekly production meetings with Design, Merchandising, TD, and Quality teams.
• Ensure packaging and label guidelines are followed and PO entry is accurate.
