Job summary

Greene Tweed Company is seeking a senior accounting leader to own the general ledger, month-end close, and consolidated reporting under US GAAP. You will partner with the US Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial statements and timely close.

This role oversees treasury controls, internal controls, and a growing team, mentoring accounting professionals and ensuring compliance across audits. CPA is highly preferred and SAP S/4HANA experience is required.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Experience with US GAAP, consolidated reporting, and financial statement preparation.
• ERP system expertise, preferably SAP S/4HANA, and internal control oversight.

Responsibilities

• Close ownership: manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• GL accuracy: review journals, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Consolidation & financial reporting: prepare and review consolidated statements.
• Audit coordination: support audits and remediation with US GAAP compliance.
• Technical compliance: maintain records in line with internal controls.
