Takeda seeks a Global Alliance Management Lead, Director, based in Cambridge, MA, to maximize value and minimize risk across partnered alliances and licenses. You will lead a portfolio, negotiate terms, and drive best practices globally to support Takeda's strategies and business plans.

You will influence senior stakeholders, guide deal teams, and help build capability for alliance management across regions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; MBA or JD preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in biopharma across R&D, Marketing, Finance, Sales, BD&L, or related.
• Minimum 4 years in Alliance Management with partner-facing responsibilities.
• Direct pharma/biotech alliance and licensee management experience including governance and renegotiations.
• Strong knowledge of biopharma value chain, contracts, and risk implications.
• Experience leading cross-functional global teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to design strategic initiatives and drive change in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent negotiation, diplomacy, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a portfolio of global alliance and licensee partnerships to maximize value and minimize risk.
• Serve as primary relationship leader for assigned partnerships, driving governance and performance.
• Develop and execute strategic and financial plans for alliance portfolios, including forecasting and renegotiations.
• Lead or support BD transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, licensing, and renegotiations.
• Design and improve alliance management processes, tools, and training globally.
• Establish alliance governance structures with executive reviews and joint committees.
• Monitor obligations, partnership health, risks, and performance metrics; implement mitigation.
