Qualifications

• MBA or JD preferred.
• CAAM or CSAP certification are a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience across R&D, Marketing, Finance, Sales, BD & Licensing.
• Minimum 4 years in Alliance Management with partners; leadership experience.
• Experience with long-term partnerships, governance, dispute resolution, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of global alliance/licensee partnerships to maximize value and minimize risk.
• Serve as the primary relationship leader for assigned partnerships, driving governance and performance.
• Develop and execute strategic/financial plans for alliance portfolios, including forecasting and market assessments.
• Lead or support BD transactions: acquisitions, divestments, licensing, renegotiations.
• Design and improve alliance management processes, tools, and training.
• Establish alliance governance structures and launch activities.
• Monitor contractual obligations, risks, and performance metrics; implement mitigations.
• Build internal/external stakeholder relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
• Ensure activities comply with Takeda policies and evolving requirements.
