Job summary

DP World in New York is seeking an Airfreight Pricing Specialist to manage RFQs, negotiate with carriers, and coordinate quotations for domestic and international shipments. You will support the sales team with pricing strategies and ensure competitive, compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in air freight pricing, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with MS Office and logistics systems; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Air Freight, Air Freight Pricing, Freight Forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of air cargo pricing, routing, and carrier management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation/logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Air Freight RFQs for domestic and international shipments.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements with airlines and logistics providers.
• Analyze market trends, capacity, and pricing strategies for competitive solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with airlines, vendors, and partners.
• Support sales with pricing strategies and transport solutions.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Maintain records of rates, contracts, and supplier information.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service for smooth shipments.
