Job summary

DP World in Houston, TX is seeking an Airfreight Pricing Specialist to manage air freight pricing requests and quotation processes, negotiate with airlines, and support supplier relations across domestic and international shipments.

You will analyze market trends, prepare timely quotes for clients and internal teams, and work with sales, operations and carriers to ensure competitive pricing and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in Air Freight, Air Freight Pricing, Freight Forwarding
• Strong knowledge of air cargo pricing, routing, and carrier management
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Air Freight RFQs for domestic and international shipments for assigned commercial sales executives
• Negotiate rates and service agreements with airlines, carriers, and logistics providers
• Analyze market trends, capacity, and pricing strategies to maintain competitive solutions
• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for clients and internal stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, vendors, and strategic partners
• Support the sales team with pricing strategies and transportation solutions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements
• Maintain updated records of rates, contracts, and supplier information
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments
