Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks a skilled aircraft maintenance technician to service, troubleshoot, repair, and inspect aircraft to ensure airworthiness. You will perform inspections at OEM/FAA intervals, document work, and maintain logs, while handling Ground Support Equipment and safety compliance in a dynamic environment.

The role requires an FAA A&P license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Travel worldwide may be required to support mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• Driver license valid in the US.
• Passport required for international travel.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret level clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and certify aircraft at specified OEM/FAA intervals.
• Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions; perform corrective actions.
• Document maintenance on appropriate forms and logbooks.
• Maintain Ground Support Equipment; service oxygen, nitrogen, tires, and hydraulics.
• Perform preflight and postflight inspections; ensure safety and compliance.
• Train new employees and supervise non-certified personnel as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and directives; communicate issues to management.
