Job summary

V2X Inc is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II to work in our Texas facility. You will perform maintenance tasks under supervision, evaluate discrepancies, and implement repairs using official manuals and service bulletins.

The role requires an A&P license, strong communication, and attention to detail. Travel up to 10% may be required, with a focus on safety and quality in all activities.

Qualifications

• Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license required.
• Airframe mechanical and electrical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisors and/or Maintenance Manager per instructions and manuals.
• Evaluates aircraft discrepancies and identifies parts, materials, and tooling requirements.
• Uses maintenance manuals, service bulletins, schematics, and diagrams to install, test, and ensure modifications are done correctly.
• Inspects for corrosion, performs touch up painting, and applies decals and labels; prepares components for painting.
• Complies with established safety, quality, and workmanship standards.
