Job summary

DST LLC is seeking an A&P Mechanic to repair and maintain aircraft and perform FAA-required inspections. You will analyze blueprints, train technicians, and collaborate with engineering to improve designs and productivity.

Travel is required to support missions and ensure on-time delivery. The role requires an A&P certificate, a high school diploma, and extensive aircraft systems knowledge along with FAA/IPC/ATA codes expertise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required.
• Minimum three years’ aircraft-related experience or demonstrated knowledge applicable to tasks.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations, IPC and ATA codes.

Responsibilities

• Fully analyzes blueprints, drawings, work orders to troubleshoot, repair and install parts.
• Trains and leads other employees in proper work techniques.
• Assists shop to meet schedules for on-time aircraft delivery.
• Inspects all aircraft parts for damage prior to installation.
• Works with engineering on design enhancements and productivity improvements.
• Operates and maintains required ground support equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs all aircraft and customer systems.
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
