Job summary

Octopus by RTG is seeking a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner to lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles across our global client portfolio. The role demands a strategic recruiter with strong technical hiring expertise and hands-on experience leveraging AI to identify top talent.

You will own complex hiring requirements, advise clients and hiring managers, and continuously explore new ways to attract and engage hard-to-find technical talent across markets.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in technical recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Experience hiring for complex technical positions across markets.
• Strong experience in innovative sourcing strategies, Boolean search, talent mapping and passive candidate engagement.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered recruitment tools and automation to improve sourcing effectiveness.
• Proficiency in ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, data-driven mindset with a strong interest in recruitment innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Recruitment: Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, from role intake and sourcing to candidate assessment, offer negotiation, and successful placement.
• Innovative Sourcing: Develop creative, non-traditional sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates and hard-to-find technical talent across global markets.
• AI-Powered Recruitment: Leverage AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance talent discovery, streamline recruitment workflows, and improve hiring efficiency.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to clients and hiring managers, providing insights into talent availability, market trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment strategies.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of technical roles, including software development, data, cloud computing, DevOps, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
• Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate journey, manage expectations, and lead offer discussions and negotiations.
• Reporting & Optimization: Track recruitment KPIs, analyze sourcing effectiveness, and continuously improve hiring processes through data‑driven insights and technology adoption.
• 7-10 years of experience in technical recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within a technology company, recruitment agency, outsourcing provider, or RPO environment.
• Proven track record of successfully hiring for complex technical positions across competitive talent markets.
• Strong experience in innovative sourcing strategies, Boolean search, talent mapping, and passive candidate engagement.
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑powered recruitment tools and automation to improve sourcing effectiveness and recruitment efficiency.
• Strong understanding of technical roles, technologies, and relevant talent markets.
• Experience partnering with clients and hiring managers and independently managing multiple recruitment projects.
• Proficiency in ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
