Job summary

Nidec Aerospace, a leader in electrification for aerospace, seeks a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth in propulsion, electrification, and defense markets from Atlanta or elsewhere in North America. Build key customer partnerships and lead opportunities from prospecting to contract award.

The role requires strong technical understanding, superb communication, and a track record of converting opportunities into orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Aerospace, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in Business Development or related roles in aerospace/defense.
• Proven track record of winning new business and managing complex deals.
• Fluent English; international travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and capture opportunities in aerospace propulsion, electrification, and defense markets.
• Lead customer engagement from prospecting through contract award.
• Develop capture strategies and manage proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and commercial offers.
• Collaborate with Strategic Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Program Management.
