Job summary

Vertiv Co. seeks a Global Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to shape future-state manufacturing strategy and scalable production systems for Strategic Thermal Labs.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Automation, and Supply Chain to ensure readiness, capacity expansion, and industrialization for growth. Responsibilities include developing roadmaps, evaluating technologies, and guiding cross-functional teams through startup, transfer, and expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing engineering or related technical field.
• 8–10 years in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or factory planning.
• Experience in factory expansion or production ramp initiatives.
• Knowledge of facility layout, material flow, and capacity planning.
• Understanding of NPI and manufacturing readiness concepts.
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term manufacturing strategies aligned with STL objectives.
• Develop factory roadmaps for production systems and capacity expansion.
• Evaluate future-state concepts and support major investment decisions.
• Lead cross-functional efforts for scalable manufacturing architectures.
• Develop production flow, material movement, and WIP strategies.
• Support factory startup, commissioning, and ramp activities with industrialization plans.
