Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Strategic Operations Project Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing footprint and capacity expansion initiatives, from scope through operational launch. Coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and readiness goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing context.
• Experience leading large-scale manufacturing facility projects (greenfield and brownfield) from scope to handover.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, line balancing, production system design, and throughput optimization.
• Experience with capital expenditure budgeting, financial modeling, and capital project justification.
• Knowledge of automation, digital factory tools, and MES.
• Ability to lead cross-functional, global project teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical skills and capacity modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PM of capacity expansion and new factory initiatives from scope through design, construction, equipment installation, and launch.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Drive project governance with stage-gate reviews, executive status reporting, and stakeholder communication across all levels of the organization.
