Job summary

TikTok is seeking a campus intern for the Ads Platform and Interfaces teams to help shape developer experiences across Marketing, Organic, and other APIs. The role emphasizes translating business needs into actionable product requirements and supporting planning and execution for API integrations.

You will collaborate with engineering to design improvements, learn about developer workflows, and contribute to discovery, competitive analysis, and feasibility assessments.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Academic CS background with technical experience or project work.
• Interest in product management, developer platforms, APIs, SDKs, integrations, automation products, or workflow systems.
• Strong technical aptitude for APIs, authentication, request/response structures, integration patterns, developer workflows, and system interactions.
• Ability to break down ambiguous user, partner, or business needs into structured problem statements, product ideas, and actionable next steps.
• Able to intern for 3 months or longer; candidates available to work 5 days a week are preferred.
• Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during winter

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear product requirements with PRDs.
• Support planning and execution for ads integration across APIs and SDKs.
• Collaborate with engineering to design developer-facing improvements.
• Synthesize needs from developers, partners, advertisers into requirements.
• Assist with discovery, competitive analysis, and feasibility reviews.
• Identify integration pain points and opportunities for reliability.
• Define and track success metrics for developer platforms.
• Work across API surfaces including Marketing, Organic, and other APIs.
• Create product documents and enablement materials.
