Job summary

Catapult is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead to drive efficiency in a fast-paced finance team. Based in Boston, you will own the full payment cycle, foster strong supplier relationships, and partner with internal teams to maintain financial integrity.

You’ll lead the Global Accounts Payable group, guide process improvements (Coupa rollout underway), manage three-way matching, and ensure accurate monthly closes while mentoring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the end-to-end AP process and mentoring a team.
• Strong analytical, organizational, mathematical skills, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
• Familiar with AP processes in multiple countries including US, UK, Ireland, Australia and China.
• Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency; intermediate to advanced.
• Experience with global taxes (Sales Tax, VAT, GST).
• Experience with Netsuite or other large ERP systems.
• Experience with AP automation software and implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global Accounts Payable team and provide guidance as needed.
• Drive AP process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability and accuracy.
• Manage end-to-end AP process including three-way match, verification, and payments.
• Oversee monthly AP close as part of Accounting close procedures.
• Set up new supplier records and verify bank details; manage supplier payments.
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve inquiries or discrepancies.
• Process and audit employee expenses in line with policy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve AP issues and ensure data integrity.
