Job summary

Goliath is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. You will process vendor invoices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, manage payments, and ensure accurate costing across inventory and logistics.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, or progress toward one.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with multiple online portals.

• Collaborative, adaptable approach with Finance, Inventory, and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and on time in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, routing them for approval and scheduling payment.
• Record inventory, shipping, and logistics invoices in partnership with the Logistics team, ensuring costs reflect the actual flow of goods.
• Review, reconcile, and post employee expense reimbursement reports in line with company policy.
• Issue vendor payments through the company's banking platform and apply them in Business Central.
• Reconcile corporate credit card activity and process related payments.
• Prepare the weekly cash forecast for management review and approval.
• Calculate and pay quarterly commissions to external sales representatives.
• Onboard new vendors by collecting and verifying required documentation (W-9s, banking details) and setting them up in Business Central.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, resolving billing and payment questions promptly.
• Manage the Accounts Payable inbox, responding to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile the intercompany AP account for inventory received and invoiced.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests.
• Prepare and file annual 1099 forms.
• Lead ad-hoc projects tied to management’s strategic priorities, analyzing data and providing insights.
