Job summary

Databricks is seeking an SAP Technical Lead to own the technical architecture and delivery of our SAP platform. You will define a clean-core S/4HANA landscape, lead engineers, and architect the AI layer that sits between SAP and the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

You will set standards, balance build-versus-adopt decisions, and ensure security, performance, and scalability as Finance processes like Record-to-Report, Source-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash evolve.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SAP technical roles with leadership experience.
• Deep command of clean-core principles and S/4HANA architecture.
• Strong experience with SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, CAP.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end technical architecture for the S/4HANA landscape with upgrade-ready guardrails.
• Define extensibility strategy for SAP using Databricks-native apps and ensure secure, scalable extensions.
• Drive Enterprise AI integration and orchestrate AI workflows within the ERP landscape.
• Design a secure integration fabric across SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite and API patterns.
• Mentor engineers and architects, align SAP ecosystem with business stakeholders.
