Job summary

Tenstorrent seeks a Director of Accounting Operations to lead and scale the company's core accounting operations across AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, accruals, reconciliations, and close. This hybrid role supports rapid growth across multiple US and international entities.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting operations, strong US GAAP expertise, CPA preferred, and a proven track record building scalable processes, internal controls, and audit readiness in high-growth environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting operations, controllership, or corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, close, reconciliations, accruals, AP, AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, internal controls, and audit support.
• Experience leading in high-growth or multinational environments and ERP transformation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale accounting operations across AP, AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, accruals, reconciliations, and close operations.
• Own and improve the monthly and quarterly close process, driving accountability and cycle-time improvements.
• Strengthen internal controls, documentation, segregation of duties, and ERP processes in partnership with Finance Systems and IT.
• Build and develop a high-performing accounting operations organization and manage auditor relationships.
