Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a Director of Accounting Operations to lead and scale the company’s core accounting operations function. Build a disciplined, audit-ready, and scalable organization that can support rapid growth and future public-company requirements.

You will oversee AP, AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, accruals, reconciliations, and close operations while partnering across global finance functions.

Qualifications

• Experienced accounting operations leader with strong technical accounting judgment and a builder's mindset.
• Proven ability to improve close timelines, control discipline, and scale processes in high-growth environments.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, reconciliations, accruals, payroll, fixed assets, internal controls, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale accounting operations across AP, AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, accruals, reconciliations, and close operations.
• Own and improve monthly and quarterly close process, increasing accountability and cycle time efficiency.
• Strengthen internal controls and system-based controls, partnering with Finance Systems and IT to enhance ERP processes and reporting.
• Build and develop a high-performing accounting operations team and manage auditors, consultants, and outsourced partners.
