Job summary

Wiz, based in New York City, seeks an experienced Manager, Accounting to lead the global accounting function and drive month-end and year-end closes. You will own US GAAP consolidations, implement SOX-ready controls, and build scalable workflows to support rapid growth.

You will directly manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, ensuring timely financial reporting and strong internal controls across entities in the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional accounting experience.
• 2 years of experience managing teams or serving in a controllership capacity.
• Experience working within a global high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles with schedules and timely financial reporting.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Design and maintain internal accounting policies and controls for audit readiness.
