Job summary

Brooks Automation in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to lead the global monthly, quarterly, and annual close with U.S. GAAP and SOX focus.

This hands-on leader partners across Finance and business functions to drive process improvements and ensure audit readiness. Responsibilities include managing journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany activities, coordinating external audits, and building a scalable control environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a publicly traded company.
• 4+ years of people leadership or Accounting Manager-level experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance.
• Experience managing complex month-end close processes in a global manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the global monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations per U.S. GAAP and SOX.
• Manage intercompany accounting, cross-border reconciliation, and settlements.
• Coordinate external audits and support quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Implement process improvements and automation across accounting operations.
