Job summary

The company seeks a full-time accounting professional to handle day-to-day ledger work, postings, and month-end closings.

Responsibilities include posting provisions, reconciling accounts, and supporting IFRS/HGB-compliant financial statements, with a focus on process optimization.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with IHK certification
• Substantial professional experience in financial accounting, ideally at an internationally active company
• Very good knowledge of HGB and good knowledge of IFRS

Responsibilities

• Processing and posting of day-to-day transactions in the general ledger
• Calculating and posting provisions, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts and performing account analyses
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Preparing statistics and reports
• Supporting the optimization and further development of processes and standards within the accounting department
