Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with IHK certification
• Substantial professional experience in financial accounting, ideally at an internationally active company
• Very good knowledge of HGB and good knowledge of IFRS

Starting immediately, Full-time with 40 hours peer week

Your responsibilities

• Processing and posting of day-to-day transactions in the general ledger


• Calculating and posting provisions, accruals, and intercompany transactions


• Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts and performing account analyses


• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS


• Preparing statistics and reports


• Supporting the optimization and further development of processes and standards within the accounting department

Your qualifications

• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with additional training as a certified accountant (IHK), or a comparable qualification


• Substantial professional experience in financial accounting, ideally at an internationally active company


• Very good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and good knowledge of IFRS


• Proficiency in ERP systems, ideally SAP HANA


• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel


• A hands-on approach and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with existing processes


• Strong teamwork skills and a high degree of initiative


• Good written and spoken German and English skills
