Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is seeking a full-time Material Handler 1 - Glass for our Battle Ground, WA facility. The role focuses on moving materials with vacuum lift assist, lifting/selecting carts, and supporting production under supervision.

The position requires attention to safety, ability to read a tape measure, and willingness to work across plant functions on a 2nd shift (3:30pm–11:30pm) with a $2 night differential. This is a career-building opportunity within a global company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer input and interface skills.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Stable work history with manufacturing/fabrication experience preferred.
• Flexible to work in different plant functions.
• Available to work a 5-day week with some Saturdays.
• Shift: 2nd shift 3:30pm-11:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Move materials using vacuum lift assist equipment and manually handle carts.
• Assist production by transporting items to support the manufacturing process.
• Follow safety policies, report hazards, and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform basic inspections and ensure materials pass defined tolerances.
• Communicate with the Production Supervisor about status and issues.
