Job summary

OBE in Battle Ground, WA is seeking a full-time Material Handler 1 - Glass for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on moving materials with vacuum lift assist equipment, lifting and moving carts to support production and reporting to the Production Supervisor.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player, with opportunity to grow within the company's manufacturing operations and a commitment to safety and quality in a high-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer input and interface skills.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Stable work history with manufacturing/fabrication experience and/or mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must be flexible to work in different functions throughout the plant.
• Available to work a 5-day workweek with occasional work on Saturdays.
• Hours: 2nd shift 3:30pm-11:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks safely and follow safety policies; report hazards.
• Understand and apply inspection procedures to pass/reject materials.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and keep areas clean.
• Follow written policies and verbal directions.
• Respect coworkers to maintain a civil, safe environment.
