Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Denver, CO is hiring a full-time Material Handler (Glass) to move materials using vacuum lift assist equipment and to support production under the Production Supervisor.

This role suits a detail-oriented team player who can work 1st or 2nd shifts; starting wage is $19.50 per hour with a $4.00 per hour premium on the second shift; shifts run 5am–5pm and 5pm–1:30am.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer input and interface skills.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Stable work history with manufacturing/fabrication experience preferred.
• Available to work a 5-day workweek with occasional Saturdays.
• Must be flexible to work in different functions throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

• Move materials using vacuum lift assist equipment and manually transport carts to support production.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and report hazards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and keep areas clean and organized.
• Comply with written policies and verbal directions.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain a safe, civil work environment.
