Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is hiring a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in our shipping department. You will move, load, and unload glass and metal products to keep the laminating process moving safely and efficiently.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is ideal for a reliable team player seeking a career with an industry leader. Prior manufacturing experience and forklift/overhead crane familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior work experience in production/manufacturing preferred.
• Able to drive forklift and work around overhead cranes; basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Move glass and metal products safely from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or crates.
• Operate forklift and work around overhead crane.
• Transport and rotate materials through laminating process.
• Read work orders and follow safety, quality, and production standards.
• Inspect product quality and ensure materials meet specifications.
• Label products and required paperwork.
• Maintain a clean work area and report issues to supervisor.
