Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a 1st shift production position in Marion, OH. The role involves mass-producing windows, doors, and glass units on an early schedule with a base pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

You may assist with delivery, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials and be trained on the job. Qualified applicants must be 18+, authorized to work in the US, and able to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 25 pounds on a continual basis.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience reading a tape measure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure, inspect, examine, and observe for product defects.
• Make fraction and decimal conversions.
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
