Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio is hiring a Production Associate for the 3rd shift. You will fabricate components for window assemblies in a fast-paced, physical environment with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.

Starting pay is $17.00 with $1 per hour shift differential, totaling about $18/hour plus overtime potential. The role requires ability to read work orders and measurements, stand for long periods, and pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds continually.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure and inspect for defects.
• Operate equipment needed to perform a job.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
