Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks a Senior Accountant to help drive the corporate accounting function in Irving, TX. You will manage general ledger activities, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accurate statements.

The role offers a hybrid work model, a full-time direct-hire path, and a competitive $90,000–$105,000 annual salary. Strong GAAP knowledge and SAP experience are valued along with assets/cost accounting exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years accounting experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP and month-end close knowledge.
• Experience with general ledger and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting activities and prepare journal entries for multiple locations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze financial information to identify trends, variances, and significant changes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet, income statement, and other financial reports.
• Research and resolve errors or inconsistencies in accounting records and reports.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Review and approve financial transactions within established guidelines.
• Assist with accounting for fixed assets, leases, and cost accounting.
• Support ongoing improvements to accounting processes and reporting.

• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Experience with leases, fixed assets, inventory, or cost accounting is a plus.
• Experience in distribution, building materials, manufacturing, consumer products, or a similar industry is a plus.
• Public accounting, Big 4, regional accounting firm, or public-company experience is a plus.
• Must be located in the Dallas/Irving area or willing to commute.

Compensation & Benefits

• $90,000-$105,000 annual salary
• Full-time, permanent position
