Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Understands GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of data for use in projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team with development of maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reporting.
• Conducts research on issues, policies, and concepts pertaining to planning.
• Assists in development of conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Prepares and produces plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation projects.
• Assists in stakeholder and public participation process.
• Mantains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
