Job summary

Mohave County Information Technology Department is seeking a GIS Technician to maintain and enhance the County's GIS databases and digital maps. You will create geographic data, develop cartographic products, and support County operations with accurate spatial information.

Responsibilities include data validation, field data coordination, and producing maps and reports for multiple departments. A strong customer-service mindset and proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of GIS experience or related technical work.
• College coursework in GIS or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain GIS databases and digital maps.
• Produce cartographic products, reports, charts, and demographic data.
• Research and update land use, parcel, and geographic information.
• Provide excellent customer service to County departments and the public.
• Assist with GIS hardware maintenance and software updates.
