Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in geography, GIS, CAD or related field.
• Knowledge of GIS principles, drafting techniques and legal property descriptions.
• Ability to read deeds and assess records for accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and update maps and related records.
• Maintain Assessor Plats and Mining Plats; perform QA checks on data integrity.
• Assist public and partners with land descriptions and map interpretation.
• Create and manage GIS data for features such as boundaries, zoning, and aerial imagery.
• Serve as County liaison and technical resource on GIS-related projects.
