Job summary

Bow Wave LLC seeks a GIS Specialist to manage the GIS Service Center, supervise staff, and coordinate daily operations. You will oversee databases, ensure data integrity, and support payroll, billing, and HR-related tasks for contractor staff.

Responsibilities include scheduling GIS programmers and technicians, guiding production tasks, and developing ESRI-based tools and interfaces to meet policies and user standards.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Geography, Natural Resources Management, Earth Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Sciences.
• Systems and network administration supporting GIS CAD operations.
• Designing and developing GIS production and user interface tools.
• Analyzing GIS program language components to produce and test models.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day GIS Service Center operations and staff.
• Coordinate GIS staff efforts to implement policies and directives by scheduling tasks.
• Oversee GIS databases, integrity, and user access per the Management Plan.
• Develop Enterprisesystems and applications using ESRI server technologies (Javascript, ArcGIS Online).
